Ever wonder about the difference between a ridgetop and a ‘holler’?  Join the naturalist at Ash Cave Parking area to find out. 

Saturday 12
10:00 AM *SCALAWAGS & RENEGADES 
The Ohio Frontier was full of heroes and shady characters.  Meet at the Shelter House at the Rock House to hike and explore our local history. 

2:00 PM HOCKING’S BIRDS OF PREY -Join the naturalist at the Naturalist Cabin for a closer look at Ohio’s winged predators.

7:00 PM *OWL PROWL 
The owls of Ohio are some of the most elusive and fascinating of our Hocking residents.  Join the naturalist at the Rock House shelter house for a closer look and listen to these nocturnal creatures.  (Please, no pets at the owl prowl.)

7:00 PM *FULL MOON TOUR of ASH CAVE
The mystery of Ash Cave is special as far back as the last Ice Age and beyond.  Join the naturalist in the parking lot area to explore Ash Cave by the light of the full moon and learn this special history first hand.  Mother nature supplies the light…you supply the imagination. (Please no pets at the tour)

10:00 AM *FRIDAY MORNING “PAWS” WALK  
Bring along your best behaved PUP for a quiet stroll down to Cedar Falls.  As we stroll we will take a close look at the Cedar Falls area from your dog’s perspective.  All dogs are welcome as long as they are well behaved, up to date on their shots and canine social.

10:00 AM CONKLE’S CREEP 
Conkle’s Hollow state nature preserve is one of the most unique locations in the Hocking Hills.  Join the naturalist for a short hike to find out why.  Meet in the parking area.

*Children must have adult supervision at all events.
