Announcing the 7th annual Shoot the Hills Photography Weekend and Competition, one of the Friends’ annual fundraisers. The event is a unique 24-hour photography competition hosted by the Hocking Hills State Park, and taking place throughout four counties in the Hocking Hills region (Hocking, Athens, Fairfield, and Vinton). The weekend features a variety of slide shows, exhibits, photo tips, special programs, vendors and demonstrations open to the public, as well as the photo contest itself. The mission of Shoot the Hills is to to build and maintain special viewing/photo blinds in designated areas of the Hocking Hills State Park and State Forest.
