GIRL SCOUT FORESTER FOR A DAY - Hocking State Forest

Be a Forester for a Day with ODNR Division of Forestry

Join ODNR Division of Forestry staff and other forestry professionals to learn about Ohio's State Forests!  Learn about how to identify Ohio trees, forest ecology, forest management, forest health, and careers in forestry.  Meet foresters with a range of backgrounds and about the various pathways to a forestry career. Girl Scouts will be divided according to their level in Girl Scouts and families may participate in the same group as their scout. 

10 AM - 12 PM: Brownies & Juniors

Juniors (Grades 4-5) register HERE

12PM - 2PM: Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors

Cadettes (Grades 6-8), Seniors (Grades 9-10), and Ambassadors (Grades 11-12) register HERE

IMPORTANT: This event will take place rain or shine. Please remember to dress for the weather and wear shoes and clothes that you are prepared to get muddy.
